Invoices, and how to stop
Where the invoice comes from, what happens at the end of a billing period, and what you keep after you cancel.
Updated
This page covers the money side of the subscription: the invoice, the billing date, and the two different ways a subscription can end.
Cancellation is not a button you press in the shop admin. It is actioned by the Vendzi team and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — which is why the shop keeps working until that date rather than switching off the moment you ask. Asking early costs you nothing; you are not refunded for the unused part of the month, and you are not charged for the next one.
- Note the billing date. It is the day of the month the subscription renews, and it is the date a cancellation takes effect from.
- To stop, ask the team before that date and say you want the subscription cancelled at the end of the current period.
- Confirm what you were told the end date is. It should be the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Keep the shop working until then — nothing is restricted in the meantime.
- Export anything you need before the end date. The shop stops serving on the storefront once the subscription ends.

Ask for the invoice you need while the subscription is active, not afterwards. A receipt for a month you have already paid for is a records question, and the answer is much easier to produce while the account still exists on the billing side.
A shop that has been cancelled can be brought back by resubscribing, but treat that as a new start rather than a pause: the safest assumption is that what you did not export is gone.
