The commerce reconciliation queue
Read the read-only discrepancy checks and retry a stuck background operation without creating a second charge or refund.
Updated
Reconciliation is where the system shows you places where money, stock and background work stopped agreeing. It is deliberately read-only: nothing on this page corrects data by itself.
- Captured without an order
- Money arrived but no order points at it
- Captured more than the total
- The payment exceeds what the order records
- Currency mismatch
- Payment and order currencies differ
- Expired hold
- The reservation deadline passed but stock is still held
- Negative / drifted stock
- Tracked quantity is negative or disagrees with the latest movement balance
- Refund not reconciled
- A refund has been pending or unknown for over 30 minutes
- Durable work exhausted
- A background operation used up its retries
- Open Orders, then Reconciliation.
- Read the finding and its resource id before acting. Stock findings include the last movements so you can see how the balance drifted.
- Only dead durable work has a Retry action. Enter a reason and retry; the existing operation is revived, not duplicated.
- Resolve the cause of a money finding with the refund or order actions; the queue never reprices history.
A finding is not automatically “resolved” when the symptom disappears from view. The durable row and its audit trail carry the real state; if the cause is fixed, the next read stops reporting it.
